Caught whilst on holiday in South Africa, this record breaking 58lb. 12oz catch has attracted non-stop media attention from the likes of The Anglers Mail and ITV's Anglia News!

This seems like a strange thing to say, but let’s face it, how many times have you gone to
your favourite fishing area and only come back with a blob of algae and a cold. But that’s not the only problem you’re faced with. That's because anglers have a misconception about how fish are attracted to bait.
Contrary to popular belief, a fish's ability to smell different odours is very limited.

That's right, fish have trouble telling the difference between a piece of bread, coated with strawberry essence and a worm. You see, unlike humans, the fish's brain doesn't have the frame of reference to distinguish between the various odours. They can smell only one odour that is present in all forms of bait.

This "ONE" odour is what we like to call the "CORE" essence and it doesn't matter where or what time of year it is either, or even what fish you intend on fishing for, "Strike One" is all the bait you need.
